More than a wallpaper
She walks around your desktop on her own. Move the pointer close and she'll look your way; poke her cheek or pat her head and she'll respond. Pick her up by dragging her, then let go and she'll land back on the ground.
At around 1:00 a.m., she returns to her room, lies on her side in bed, and tucks herself under the covers. Say good night and she can go to sleep earlier.
On rainy days she carries a clear umbrella, at tea time she has a drink in hand, and now and then she fans herself, hugs a leek, or waves glowsticks. On holidays she wears a hat for the occasion. Put on some music and she rests a hand on her headset and moves to the beat.
Seven scenes, three times of day
The Shibuya scramble crossing, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, Shinjuku, a school hallway, a music room, and Miku's room. In Shibuya, crowds wait at the kerbs and stream across in every direction when the lights turn green. Rain and snow fall over the streets as cars and JR trains pass by; turn off dynamic effects whenever you want to save power.

Talk with her, and she'll remember
I'm so tired today.
You've worked hard today. Shall I hum something cheerful for you? ♪
- Three languages.Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and English. Chinese replies use a Taiwanese Mandarin tone by default; ask her and she'll switch to Cantonese.
- Sounds like Miku.Upbeat and direct, and she can't stop once the talk turns to music. She'll hum along, but never quotes copyrighted lyrics.
- Your choice of personality.Cheerful, gentle, quiet, or one you write yourself, plus the name she uses for you.
- Long-term memory. She remembers your preferences and the relationship you've built together. You can delete individual memories at any time.
- Image understanding.Drag an image into the chat window when your local model supports image input.
Her days
- Special days. She remembers her birthday, Miku Day, Christmas, New Year, and summer festivals, as well as the day you first met. Magical Mirai and SNOW MIKU dates are checked on the official sites every three days.
- A notebook and a diary.Every night before bed, she writes about the day in her diary. You can read it in Miku's Notebook.
- Mini games.Rock-paper-scissors, a Vocaloid song quiz, and rhythm tap. Just ask in chat to start one.
- Now and then, she comes to you.Turn on "Random little moments" and she'll hum, ask you something, or invite you to play at random times.
Everything stays on your Mac
Your own computer's AI model handles each chat, so conversations, memories, and images are never uploaded. The weather feature sends only the coordinates of the city you select, and checking Magical Mirai and SNOW MIKU dates only reads the public pages of their official sites.
Noticing the apps you use, the music you play, and the videos you watch, glancing at your screen now and then, and random little moments are five separate proactive companionship features. All are off by default and must be enabled individually.
